Sometimes in nature macroscopical events resemble microscopical ones , sharing similar structures.

This phenomenon is mainly driven by physic constraints that shape the living world and that can be described by mathematical models.

From a conceptual point of view the fact that macro mimics micro and viceversa is intriguing, since provide a sense of unity across the entire universe.
 

Specimen is a collection of pictures about marittime pine branches against the sky which - to me- resemble human lung sections observed at microscope.

The fact that the branch of a trees (that provide oxygen to breath) can be similar to lungs (which capture oxygen to our entire bodies) is an invitation to  meditation about our  place in nature and about evidence but we living in this wonderful world and we should take care o it.
